Objective

When the BMH team connected with Jared Mintzlaff, two time tech founder and CEO of First Touch, he told us that he wanted to do something that most tech companies don't do -- be funny. With a very tight turnaround of just 2.5 weeks, the BMH team worked with writer/director AJ Campli to pitch a concept that the First Touch team loved. Less than a week later, we were on location and cracking up as we produced this goofy spot highlighting First Touch's value proposition.

Key Points

  • We only had 3 weeks from our first consult meeting with First Touch to delivery, an incredible feat!
  • This commercial premiered at an exclusive launch party event for First Touch AI in partnership wtih the legendary Friday Beers team
  • We were able to find a number of ways to drastically conserve budget on a tight timeline, such as:
    • Opting for the larger/heavier (but less expensive) Arri Amira in lieu of a more expensive camera package
    • Utilizing existing decor and set dressing borrowed directly from the BMH HQ offices for set dressing
    • Efficient scheduling to wrap our primary production day in 8 hours versus 10
